Hi, I'm Sally!
+ A little more Sally
Creating LightWorks is one of the biggest silver linings of Sally's journey with metastatic breast cancer. Sally was previously a media industry executive for nearly two decades who developed growth strategies for brands like Cosmopolitan, People and Nickelodeon. Her proudest corporate achievement was creating and launching an incubator within WarnerMedia, OneFifty, that invests in innovative artists and storytellers.
Sally graduated from Harvard with a degree in psychology, summa cum laude, and has both an MBA and Masters in Education from Stanford. More recently, Sally has earned certifications in applied positive psychology, coaching, and resilience from The Flourishing Center and been trained as a teacher by Journey Meditation.
Before all of the above, Sally spent three summers as a sleepaway camp counselor. She remains passionate about bringing the childlike wonder, creativity and community celebrated in camp into everything she does, including most especially her magical adventures with her nephew Ryan (7) and nieces Alex (5) and Andi (3). More than anything else, they will tell you Auntie is a big kid who loves rainbows, unicorns and hearts, plans awesome dance parties and sleepovers, and leaves a trail of glitter pretty much everywhere she goes!
